Following Jesus with the very heart and soul of who we are

"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?"  Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'  This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'  All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."  (Matthew 22:36-40)

“If you love me, you will obey what I command.”  (John 14:15)

Jesus does not call us to follow Him just on Sundays, or to have a private, personalized faith that does not impact our daily lives.  Rather, Jesus calls His disciples to honor Him, serve and follow Him in every aspect of our lives.  Everything we believe, say, and do must be radically transformed because of our devotion to Jesus.  As disciples, our whole being must be submitted in obedience to Jesus.  As we pursue such passionate devotion to the Way of Jesus, we will be engaged in the very acts of redemption that Jesus demonstrated in His earthly ministry.  We will love God, love one another, and love our neighbors who do not yet know Jesus.
